Remarks on board the ship Vancouver : from Boston to the N. West Coast of America and China, 1804-1806.

The account covers the voyage of the Vancouver from Boston to the Sandwich Islands, the Northwest Coast, and Queen Charlotte Isles, the arrival of the ship Atahualpa, Clinton joining the Atahualpa's crew, the massacre of Capt. Porter and the crews of the Atahualpa and the ship Boston, and Clinton's experience with natives of the Northwest. Clinton copied into his journal the 1804-05 log of the Vancouver during its voyage to meet Lewis and Clark. There is a poem by Clinton, "The Bold N. West Man."
